Self-care is vital to recovering from the day-to-day toll we place on our bodies. It may even be the highest form of love we show for ourselves. Here are 4 ways you can start practicing better self-care right now.

  • Exercise regularly: Exercise is a great way to practice self-care. It helps to keep your body going and produces happy hormones that make you feel good after exercising. You can avoid this by getting at least 7-8 hours of sleep. Develop a routine that eliminates distractions such as social media or television. This may help you to fall asleep quicker and get more hours rest.
  • Treat yourself to a relaxing massage: Massages are a great way to help relieve the muscle tension we build up from day-to-day. This helps your mind and body feel more relaxed and relieves pain.
